How do I find out if I’m already registered to vote?

I’m not registered to vote. How can I get registered?

A: You can print a voter registration form HERE and then mail it to your County Clerk’s office. Your county Clerk’s address can be found HERE.

What if my situation has changed since the last time I voted?

A: Life happens. Here are a few helpful links:

  1. If you have recently moved to Arkansas, check your voter registration status HERE.
  2. If you are temporarily out of state and wish to vote, fill out an absentee ballot application HERE.
  3. If you were convicted of a crime and are unsure of your voting status, read about your voting rights in the state of Arkansas HERE.

Do I have to show ID to vote?

A: Yes, in Arkansas, you must provide a valid ID when you vote in person or when you’re newly registered and voting for the first time by mail. (If voting by mail, you may provide a photocopy of your Valid ID.)

What if the address on my ID is different from the address on my voter registration card?

A: It’s okay if your addresses do not match. Your name must be the same.
